NPUST is recognized for its excellent performance on environment and sustainability education. The number of related courses offered by different departments and colleges on average every year is up to 2,600 that occupies more half of the total.

To foster students’ learning and integration of theoretical knowledge in practice, we’re also stably increasing our budgets every year dedicated to ensure the teaching quality and to enhance academic productivity. Being one of the Model Science and Technology Universities in Taiwan, we received several project research funding issued by the Government dedicating to environmental sustainability. In the past few years, thousands of solid research results have been published.
